Dr. Arif Ataie is assistant professor at the Medicine Department of Kateb University. He is also a pediatrician at Alemy Hospital Barchi, Kabul.  His past experiences includes working as a pediatric doctor at Maiwand Teaching Hospital in pediatric ward from 2011 up to 2014. From then on, he has been working as a pediatric doctor at Alimy Hospital Barchi, Kabul. He has a taught biology for 2 years at Marifat High School. He was student of class 2010 at Kabul Medical University.

Moreover, he attended the following trainings and courses:

  • IMCI Case Management sponsored by WHO held in Miwand Teaching Hospital, Kabul Afghanistan (24/9/2012-8/10/2012)
  • Training on Strengthening Diagnosis and Treatment of TB Among Children organized by ACREOD/ATLDS and TB REACH on 4/6/2013 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
  • TOT course on Emergency Triage Assessment and Treatment (ETAT) conducted by the Child and Adolescents Health Directorate of Ministry of Public Health with technical and financial support of MSH/USAID from 19th-22th February 2012 in Maiwand Teaching Hospital Kabul, Afghanistan
  • Training on the Management of Sever Acute Malnutrition from 6th-11th April, 2012 held in Indra Gandhi Hospital Conference Room
  • Second FMIC International Pediatric Conference from pediatric ‘Care to Child Health’ September 22-23-2012 in Serena Hotel Kabul, Afghanistan
